Sorry to keep featuring this system, but it’s one of my favourites…… Weinheim (DE) – OEG Bahnhof. The OEG railgrinder on a little outing, no doubt heading back to Kafertal depot. 7 September 2008 - Mannheim (DE) – Neckartor. The old OEG was a wonderful line –it’s now fully absorbed into the regional tramway network, so the distinction is becoming blurred. Some memories remain, however, like this lovely ‘grossraumwagen’ kept for special duties. Built by Waggonfabrik Rastatt , this is a double-ended car – note the unusual sliding doors and the three headlights (required by German law for interurban tramways).Mannheim (DE) – Neckartor.
