17 Mai 2005 - Dresden, Germany – depot/zajezdnia Trachenberge. CarGoTrams usually run in a fixed formation, but motor cars and trailers can get swapped around. Here, motor car 2001 receives attention at the depot – underneath, you can clearly see the Tatra T4 origins of these trams. The little tug is quite interesting – it has tiny guide wheels to follow the tram tracks.

17 Mai 2005 - Dresden, Pirnaischer Platz. One of two CarGo Trams specially built to carry VW car parts between two plants in the city centre. Identification of CarGo trams is a little difficult, as each section is separately numbered and can be swapped around! Here, #2004 leads a train with #2003 at the rear.

Tramwaj towarowy przedziera się przez ścisłe, zabytkowe centrum Drezna, aby następnie udać się z częściami do Szklanej Manufaktury Volkswagena. I pomyśleć, że dawniej tramwaje towarowe były normą, a dziś są traktowane niczym atrakcja turystyczna. A w większości miast po prostu wycięto je w pień.
