15 Februar 2014 - Augsburg, Konigplatz. Konigplatz to główny węzeł zbiorkomu w mieście. Tu krzyżują się wszystkie linie tramwajowe i kilka autobusowych. Pięciowlotowy układ linii tramwajowych przypomina wrocławski plac Grunwaldzki ale tutaj na węźle zatrzymują się wszystkie linie dojeżdżające do węzła i cały węzeł jest strefą pieszą - bez świateł i przejść podziemnych ale za to z peronami umożliwiającymi wysuwanie ramp dla inwalidów. Co ciekawe. dziesięć lat temu węzeł też był "wyspą" otoczoną ulicami z ruchem samochodowym jak plac Grunwaldzki ale mimo to i tak był o wiele wygodniejszy do przesiadek i o wiele lepiej dostępny dla pieszych niż jajo reagana. Jednak Augsburg poszedł jeszcze dalej i po przebudowie całkowicie zlikwidował tu ruch samochodowy a całość przerzucono na dotychczasową jednokierunkową jezdnię od strony zachodniej placu. Ciekawe kiedy tak u nas?
