I didn't ask, so I don't know. Most likely just normal wear and tear. Or perhaps they just have very bad drivers. :P
But, generally, are there ane problems with spare parts for Ikarus EAG buses?
I don't know the situation, as I haven't talked to anybody who would know. The reseller for the E91 and E13 is still operational and actually has about a dozen of these buses still in store, as they ordered big time when the factory was closed down. No other models from Ikarus have ever been sold new in Norway.
I wonder how did they managed to sell their buses in Norway while none were sold in Poland :P
My guess is that the population density makes the difference. I haven't checked the numbers for Poland, but in Norway the population density is very low, so keeping a goog bus service is difficult. At some places, like where I live the buses are normal size, but only go five times per day, while other places they have small buses like those Ikaruses that go once an hour or so, and the buses are rarely full at all. In other words, Norway is a good market for this kind of buses. 1/5 of all E91 and 1/2 of all E13 ever made are delivered to Norway, as far as I know.
The reseller still has a dozen or more of them in stock, but I have no idea what happens when they run out. Only time will tell.
My guess is the Turkish BMC...
