1 Oktober 2008 - Craiova (RO) – CLF TERMO. Another tramway line built on the orders of the dictator Nicolae Ceausescu in the late 1980s. Typically, it runs along the main highway to industrial plants on the edge of the city and is mostly laid in the centre of the road. Trams are a mixture of second-hand vehicles – this ex-Vienna (and Rotterdam) SGP E1 is at the power station at the far west end of the line – only a few trams each day come to this desolate place. There are rumours that system may be replaced by buses when the city has enough money.
