24 März 2015 - Kaunas, K. Petrausko gatvė. Kaunas has bought 4 3-section buses which are first of such kind in Lithuania. And what is more sensational, both buses which are now in service are working on route 37. Since 1970`s or 80`s after an accident with Ikarus 280 there were no articulated buses buses running via Parodos hill. No one even tried to test capabilities of articulated Den Oudsten (both low and high floor) and Berkhof. They simply bought "a snake" and launched it to route 37 :)

I`m really jealous of you!:-) During rush hours it must be more comfortable than a single articulated bus... Besides, can you tell something more about that accident involving Ikarus 280?

Mike, there were no articulated buses on route 37 or any other which has to climb up to Parodos hill. I just know that there was some kind of accident, no details though :( But there was an accident with Scania when it was going down the hill, brakes malfunctioned and bus crashed into police building.
