19 Mai 2005 - Zwickau, Aeussere Schneeberger Strasse. I hope the TWB censors will allow this one photo to illustrate the Zwickau tram-train in operation - at this point, the train is running as a tram on a city tramway, so is really a tram – the distinction is no longer clear-cut! The RegioSprinter has travelled from Stadthalle along the street on mixed-gauge tracks and is just crossing into the terminal platform at Zentrum. You can ride the train into town from one of the outlying tram stops, just as if it were a tram.
