6 September 2008 - Darmstadt, Germany – depot/zajezdnia Elberstadt Frankenstein. “And now for something completely different” – as Monty Python used to say. The HEAG tramway operator in Darmstadt has obtained this small, metre gauge locomotive and various passenger carriages in order to recreate a typical German roadside steam tramway. The tram runs regularly for parties and enthusiast groups. Here, it waits to start a trip along interurban Line 8 to Alsbach.
