| Andere Informationen | Centrebus was formed in 2001 with the renaming of the company Anstey Busline of Leicestershire. In 2002 two bus companies were added to the Centrebus company; inMotion of Dunstable and Lutonian of Luton. These last two companies can be found under the other Centrebus operation. In 2005 the company started operating in Grantham after the closure of MASS Transit. Bowers Coaches of Chapel-en-le-Frith were bought by Centrebus in 2007. This operation became a joint venture with the Wellglade Group, known as High Peak Buses in 2012. In 2008 the shareholders of Centrebus created a holding company, Centrebus Holdings, Arriva taking a 40% stake in the holding company. Centrebus Holdings never had any shareholding in Centrebus itself. It was created to take over Stagecoach`s operations in Huddersfield, which became the Huddersfield Bus Company. K-Line of Elland was taken over in 2010 by Centrebus Holdings and carried the Centrebus branding. Arriva bought out the other owners of the holding company in 2013 for the West Yorkshire operations, creating Yorkshire Tiger and Hinckley Bus. In 2008 Centrebus bought the bus operation of Woods Coaches of Leicester. In 2010 Centrebus took over Judges Mini Coaches of Corby and in 2011 Centrebus took over West End Travel of Melton Mowbray. The company grew again in 2011 with the purchase of Kimes of Folkingham, this was an independant company set up in 1945. Centrebus closed the Folkingham depot in 2013, operations moving to Grantham. Another company acquired in 2011 was the Paul James Coaches operations, taken over from Veolia Transport. In 2017 Saxby depot was closed and in 2019 the depot in Corby was closed as well.
