Andere Informationen | Stagecoach East is the main company for Stagecoach operations in Eastern England and consists of four separate operations; Cambus, Viscount, United Counties and Huntingdon & District. Cambus was set up in 1984, which was the Cambridgeshire operations of Eastern Counties Omnibus Company. In 1989 the operations of Cambus in Peterborough were split off and was named Viscount Bus and Coach. In 1992 Cambus purchased Milton Keynes City Bus. Cambus was sold to Stagecoach in 1995, originally being called Stagecoach Cambus and later Stagecoach East. The Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire operations and Huntingdon depot had to be sold in 1997 by the competition authority, this led to the birth of MK Metro and Huntingdon & District. In 2008 the Huntingdon & District operations were once again purchased by Stagecoach. In 2010 the operation of Stagecoach in Northampton passed to Stagecoach Midlands.
