18 Mai 2004 - Kirnitzschtal, Germany – Lichtenhainer Wasserfall. Gotha car 1 at the Wasserfall. Like the Woltersdorf tramway near Berlin, I wonder what will happen when low-floor trams soon become compulsory throughout Germany? Maybe these two lines are classed more like national monuments and will escape? Naumberg is another, but more like a museum tramway, although it has recently begun to operate every day.
18 Mai 2005 - Kirnitzschtal, Germany – Kirnitzschtalstrasse. Approaching the Wasserfall terminus along the narrow mountain road. The track on this line is laid in traditional kerb-side fashion and must be quite dangerous in places. Thankfully, motor traffic is quite well behaved around here.
18 Mai 2005 - Kirnitzschtal, Germany – Lichtenhainer Wasserfall. A small tip for visiting tram fans – don’t bother to go and see the waterfall, like I did. I’ve seen more exciting ditches.
18 Mai 2005 - Kirnitzschtal, Germany – Kirnitzschtalstrasse. One of the passing loops along the single track. The driver often leaves the motor tram here, to go and collect fares on the trailer.
18 Mai 2005 - Bad Schandau, Germany – Stadtpark. The tramway used to continue along the road here, into the centre of Bad Schandau. It would be very nice to bring it back and save a long walk.
21 Februar 2009 - Tczew, ul. Wojska Polskiego. Linia 19 jest, wraz z 2-jką, najbardziej wysuniętą na południe linią miejską. Kursuje z Dworca do... Dworca przez Suchostrzygi, ul. 30 stycznia oraz os. Witosa.
3 Februar 2009 - 11:09, Rybnik - Maroko-Nowiny, ulica Budowlanych. Korzystam z okazji kiedy to jestem chory i wrzucam zdjęcia z ferii ;)
46 - Orzepowice Borki - Boguszowice Pętla
18 Februar 2009 - Koszalin, ul. Paderewskiego. Z tego samego słupka (przy C.H. Forum) w praktycznie tym samym czasie odjeżdżają dwie czwórki w dwóch różnych kierunkach. Bezsens.
22 Februar 2009 - Rybnik - Śródmieście, pl. Wolności. Bo z "kaczątkiem" jadącym również do Boguszowic raźniej jest. :)
32 - Grabownia Olszowiec - Boguszowice Pętla.
17 Mai 2005 - Dresden, Germany – Pirnaischer Platz. This Bombardier car is a slightly later design and has a different front end treatment with an electronic destination screen. Probably a good thing in this case, as the place name only just fits!
17 Mai 2005 - Dresden, Germany – St Petersburger Strasse. Another NGT8 monster tram. When built, these were the longest ever, I think. The driver probably doesn’t need a rear view mirror – he uses Google Earth to find the back of the tram :-)
17 Mai 2005 - Dresden, Germany – St Petersburger Strasse. A massive NGT8 car, which seems as long as a football pitch. Passengers at the back of these trams must be in a different time zone, one hour behind those at the front :-)
