6 Juni 2010 - Bremen, Markt. During my university alumni reunion I managed to eke out a few hours to take a couple of pics. Here we see what I like most about the place - a tram going straight through the market square, passing the historical City Hall, with hordes of pedestrians and cyclists running around freely next to the tracks.
17 Februar 2010 - Bremen, Wilhelm-Kaisen-Bruecke. Interior of this long tram is arranged to provide seat for majority of passengers. One of few disadvantages of this tram is quite loud propulsion system.
17 Februar 2010 - Bremen, Am Dorn. Here the tramway goes on ideally flat track past the most important historic buildings in Bremen. Such a lovely view.
17 Februar 2010 - Bremen, Oberstrasse. Tramways run in Bremen thourgh the most important streets of city center, full of shops. The clue is clear - you should leave your car in your garage, avoid searching park place, and reach centre by city-friendy tramway. I would like to see this solution in my hometown, Lublin.
29 Oktober 2004 - Bremen, Am Brill. There are three major kinds of weather in Bremen: before the rain, rain, and after the rain. Other kinds are in a tiny minority.
14 März 2004 - Bremen, Gröpelingen. Sympatyczna mordka made by AEG.
22 Juni 2007 - Bremen, Bgm.-Hildebrand-Strasse.
The terminus is exactly on the border of the city. The great wall of earth in the background is the A1 motorway between Hamburg and the Ruhr Basin. Behind it we have Lower Saxony already.
15 Oktober 2003 - Bremen, Hauptbahnhof. Waiting for the solaris test bus I photographed this tram with a lovely light-green head. Sadly, it's almost impossible to photograph a tram without people in front of it. On the other hand, you can walk all around the square and nobody ever got run over.
2 Oktober 2004 - Bremen, St-Jürgen-Str. A green worm gets moving from the stop in front of the Werder Bremen stadium. On the left you can see the "livestock" that came for the Bayern-Werder match.
4 November 2004 - Bremen, Hauptbahnhof. 3027 has just squeezed through a very low tunnel (the pantograph almost touches the roof!) and will turn into the local transport station.
16 April 2004 - Bremen, Georg-Bitter-Straße. The track is used for trams from Sebaldsbrück depot and for detours like this. Lovely red moss by the way... :D
3 September 2004 - Bremen, Markt. The essence of the city. The monumental city hall to the right, the Roland statue to the left, and a Worm heading for Weserwehr between them. This is Bremen for you!
16 April 2004 - Bremen, Buergermeister-Hildebrand-Str. The last GT8N in original livery, which has survived only thanks to the ad. An interesting mural can also be seen on the left.
