12 August 2013 - Kaunas, S. Žukausko gatvė. On the longest city bus route in Lithuania - 31 km, which takes 98 minutes in one direction during rush hours.
7 Februar 2013 - Vilnius, Žygimantų gatvė. Now almost all buses of VVT have at least one picture. There are several buses which have no photos but thats because I don`t have photos of them at all or they are (almost) impossible to picture.
12 August 2013 - Kaunas, Vytauto prospektas. Several buses of route 3 during warm period have bike holders. Now only Kaunas and Druskininkai offer bicycle transportation on buses. In other news: from 2014-04-01 UAB „Kauno autobusai“ now operates not only buses but also trolleybuses! Unlike in Vilnius, where bus and trolleybus operators were joined into new company, here trolleybus operator was incorporated into bus depot. From that date, AB „Autrolis“ doesn`t exist anymore. P.S. this isn`t April Fools joke ;)
14 März 2014 - Vilnius, Jeruzalės gatvė. VVT is trying to use rented Berkhof`s as much as possible - they are sent to routes, where there are the most km/day: all "G" routes, 78, 29. I can only feel sorry for passengers of 29 and 78 because there are at least 1 such bus (of 2 or 3) every day. After some time they do look nice but you cannot get used to terrible seat and door locations. Someone was high, really HIGH, when he was designing inside of this bus.
2 September 2013 - Vilnius, Stotis, Stoties gatvė. First day in service of rented Berkhofs. First 2 were 167 and 168. The last one is 284, which started working almost half year later.
12 April 2010 - Vilnius, Šešuolių gatvė. Now it is nearly impossible to see articulated bus in this weird road - only line 32 runs here and bendy bus is not "bendy enough" to fit into certain streets and corners in Zujūnai and Gineitiškės. It is planned to start construction of III part of Western Vilnius bypass by the end of the year, so soon there will be no buses on this street.
1 November 2009 - Vilniaus rajonas, Papiškės, A. Mickevičiaus gatvė. From 2008 on line 63 are used tablets with former 63grt ("express") numbers. Line 63grt was completely identical to modern 63. It wasn`t even real express - it didn`t skip any stops - the only difference was that is was going straight Pilaitės pr. while regular 63 was going via Karaliaučiaus street.
